TeaCup Thursday

I, like Bernideen, am caught off-guard again,
so without a lot of "type", here is my teacup.
It is one of my favorites - purchased at a garage sale,
so I know none of its history.

I just like its shape, colors, floral pattern, and size.
I like to get 2 cups of tea out of a teabag,
and I find this cup is perfect without having
to boil more water and wait for more steeping.
In this regard, it is very valuable to me and I
would so miss it if something happened to it.

Pretty...I don't think I've ever seen that at your house before.
Are there no markings on it at all?

Joyce, I use this just for me in the mornings. It is quite larger than most. If I used it for tea with you &/or others, there would not be much tea left in the pot :) Not a mark on it's bottom. I think it must be vintage "dime store" and is prettier with age. The lip is nice and thin like we like it. You can drink out of it next time. Love, Marsha

This one looks really pretty with the floral emblem, the touch of pink around the top, the gilding and the unusual shape. Thanks for sharing! Delcie
