Thank you all, for your blog visit and lovely comments.

Thank you all, for your blog visit and lovely comments.  You've all helped me make HopeChest Tea Room what it was - a refuge, a quiet lovey place to be with friends doing something charming and somewhat unusual in this hustle, bustle world.

The tea winners of those who left comments are Mary George, Joyce, and Tricia.  I love Christy's comments, too, but we have tea together all the time.  There will be more chances to win, so stay tuned.......

One of my favorite quotes:
"Our Senses are soothed by a carefully prepared tea environment ….
A graceful cup, a dainty napkin, a silver spoon, a lace doily, a beautiful teapot.
Tea is a sip of yesteryear. . . . . . ."

Pamper yourself over a pot of freshly steeped tea, morning, evening, and/or night!

Oh and I forgot to add that I LOVED the secret place of refuge that the Hope Chest was for me. I loved going in and having a Cream Tea and reading magazines and talking with the very sweet owner.
:~)
What two great quotes you put on here today. Loved them.

Hi Marsha, Joyce sent me here to check out your tea blog and I must say, I like what I see already. Sorry about your loss. I loss both parents 5 months apart in 2007, so I know the pain is stil there, but with Joyce as a friend, you will receive great comfort.
I used to be a tea drinker and I think since I have to give up coffee, I will go back to tea, since it can be so sooting, even when I'm alone. Will be back for visits. Hugs,Pat
ps. I too am from Louisiana, Crowley to be exact and I am hoping to meet Joyce near Christmas time, since she works at one of my favorite stores.

Yes, Urban Chick, we tea drinkers think that even the making of a pot of tea is soothing and calming, as is the enjoyment of sitting down to drink it. Glad to meet you and Ms. Daisy. Joyce is the best and is a great comfort. Thanks for yours. Marsha
